How difficult is it to install ALYT®?

Is very easy and intuitive, anyone can learn to use it in a matter of minutes, just plug ALYT® and follow the few setup steps.

What are the shipping costs?

All shipping in the US cost $15 and $30 everywhere else. Shipment does not include extra fees from customs, or additional costs associated with your country. Also, there is no guarantee that this will work in your country (e.g. unknown power & connectivity issues) – there are many hurdles we need to go over until we have a complete picture on the international market. If it turns out that shipment to your country proves impossible, we will reimburse your order.

Will ALYT® work with other security products on the market?

Yes, the communication channels use standard and widespread protocols: - ZWave: all the certified devices sold in the market will be integrated in ALYT - ZigBee and Bluetooth: not only the standard stacks and protocols can be used, but also proprietary if needed by the user. Thirdy-party system can interact with ALYT® using standard web services communication.

How long do the batteries last?

ALYT® will only need to rely on the battery in the event of a power outage. Our goal is to operate in battery mode as long as possible, but this is definitely related to the user actions. For example if the user, using the a mobile phone, requires a lot of live or recorded video streams then the battery life will be shorter. However the system in normal operation mode can work for several days.

What if I lose my smartphone?

If you lose your phone, you can still arm and disarm your system with the buttons on the case or using RFID remote control. The lost phone can be disabled via web interface.

Does ALYT® have to be connected to the internet to work?

No, is possible to use the system in local WiFi mode that not require any internet connection.

ALYT Is safe ? What happens if my power, or internet, goes out?

Ye, data communications use 128-bit AES encryption. The ALYT® system integrates an included back-up battery in order to keep your system running when the power go out. Two external data communication channels are used: 3G cellular and a WiFi, then the internet connectivity is assured via WiFi, through the home router , or via cellular network. And without internet is always possible to directly call the user (voice call) or send an sms using the GSM network. Plus an emergency WiFi local mode is available, then without internet (cellular or WiFi) the system can always be activated or deactivated.

What phones work with ALYT®?

iOS and Android smartphones, using mobile app, can control our system. Future development include control via SMS, direct call voice recognition, DTMF signaling and responsive design web pages, in this way also cheap and simple GSM mobile phone can be used.

If you purchase the guru package, how can you get more sensors?

You can get more sensors just from our websites in the dedicate on line market that will open very soon. ALYT® is also compatible with almost all Zwave and Zigbee devices on the market.

What cameras will be compatible?

ALYT® is compatible with ALYT® cameras indoor and outdoor, bullet, dome ore speed dome. ALYT® is also compatible with most of the true ONVIF professional cameras and any camera that stream trough RTSP or motion jpeg.

in the videos it looks like the plugs are not USA. When u ship ti USA it will be USA compatible?

For the video we had to chose something to show. We chose the german plugs to show that the product is compatible worldwide.

What product do you recommend for door lock openers?

Z-wave door locks are good and strong! Also lockitron is not bad at all! all these work perfectly with ALYT.

ALYT® is a hub and the app basically lets you control all the devices in the one app?

Not only. There is a AI that will learn your habits from you and from the rules you give to ALYT® in the first week of usage. It also use info from the Internet and from your social profile to understand your needs in advance. About the security side, ALYT® use a very strong protocol and some peculiar feature that comes from our previous experience in military security. Is much more then an hub.

What is a PIR sensor?

PIR means passive infrared sensor. Is a motion detector at the end. The difference from other product di that you can find on the net is that our PIR (or motion detector) use 4 ir Ray and not only one. Is a quad PIR sensor in fact. With a special lens that provide a wide angle to the detector and long distance operation indoor.
